Our life-saving systems, which we develop and manufacture in Zurich, are used for acute and long-term therapy in patients with severe heart diseases.

Our location in the heart of the city of Zurich has around 130 employees in the areas of development and production of the CentriMag™ System and the HeartMate 3™ motor.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technician Client Services will provide support to 170 end users on a variety of IT issues. Identify, research, and resolve IT technical problems. Respond to IT client telephone calls and email requests for service. The IT Administrator will document, track and monitor incidents and problems to ensure a timely resolution through the Helpdesk application.

What You'll Do:

  • Configure, maintain, and support PCs and laptops

  • Provide help desk support in-person and over the phone (limited)

  • Use of the Service Now ticketing system for all interventions

  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot a variety of software and hardware

  • Troubleshoot remote access issues

  • Install and support network printers and faxes

  • Complete special projects as assigned

  • Setup and troubleshoot mobile devices such as iPhones and i Pads

  • Dependable, reliable and predictable attendance is a requirement.

  • Self-Starter - The Technician Client Services can work effectively and efficiently with little oversight. He/she does not require assignment of tasks, but sees worthwhile activities and initiates the appropriate effort. He/she is a self-starter showing a strong bias for action with a sense of urgency and high energy. The Technician Client Services works within a collaborative environment to achieve improved results.

  • Customer Focus - The Technician Client Services will maintain a customer focus by understanding the customer's viewpoint. He/she is to be viewed by customers as a business partner who anticipates their needs and assures there are no barriers to doing business.

  • Effective Communication Skills - The Technician Client Services uses effective communication skills to manage communication and feedback within the organization. He/she is cand id, clear and concise in communication. He/she uses appropriate style, tone and delivery methods to effectively reach the intended audience.

The Technician Client Services will be part of a large European team and will have different options to reach out for guidance and support.

Your Profile:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft OS including Windows 10

  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools including Office and Outlook

  • Knowledge of PC hardware

  • Basic understanding of networking technologies and protocols such as basic IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN client configuration

  • Ability to prioritize assigned projects, help desk calls, and emails

  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues

  • Must have strong customer service, time management, and written/verbal communication skills

  • Fluent in German and basic in English

  • Keen sense of teamwork is highly essential. Must have an excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently and be organized.
