Senior Software Engineer Backend (Tech Lead)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership within a Scrum team

  • Clarify assignment by reviewing and negotiating requirements

  • Realize a solution for the assignment by identifying and analyzing alternatives

  • Write elegant and high-performance Golang code

  • Perform high quality code reviews

  • Support the product owner in defining epics, writing user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Ensures unit and integration test coverage

  • Collaborate with other teams and define APIs

Requirements:

  • BS, MS or PhD in computer science or related engineering disciplines

  • 5+ years as a software developer in a cloud environment

  • History of delivered software products

  • Experience in CI/CD, Containerization (Docker) and Cloud Computing (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes)

  • Know-How in developing in multiple languages, Golang and Flutter, are a plus

  • Ideally, experience in leading technical teams

  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. German is advantageous
