About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Expert Business Analyst - SAP Finance & Treasury to join our team in Zurich Switzerland and work at an expert level in both functional and technical aspects in the domains of Finance and Treasury. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in business facing roles as well as technical expertise in designing, developing, testing, and coordinating the implementation of Finance solutions, with focus on primarily SAP applications

Key Responsibilities include

  • Act as trusted partner, interfacing between various business departments and Information Management teams

  • Work independently on business processes and application solutions with a specific focus on SAP Finance & Treasury ·

  • Deliver on Design and Implementation projects

  • Perform in an independent way full lifecycle project tasks: conceptual definition, detailed design, build/configuration, testing, training, conversions & go-live support

  • Take over tasks covering all aspects of business change (processes, business data, supporting applications, organization alignment, enabling IT infrastructure)

  • Work with resources from multiple competence centers across the globe ·

  • Supervise and mentor occasionally Junior Business Analysts and external consultants.

  • Stakeholder management across the organization

  • Keep up to speed with “best practice” evolution in respective business process area of SAP Finance & Treasury

    About you

  • University degree in (applied) Economics, Finance, Information Technology or similar

  • 8-10+ years’ experience in SAP Finance & Treasury module, S/4Hana is a plus, good knowledge of the integration with other modules, debug skill is needed

  • Proven expert knowledge of various Analytics technologies with a focus on Microsoft Azure and PowerBI. Familiarity with SAP analytics stack solutions is a plus

  • Strong experience in all phases of the software development process including requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, testing and documentation

  • Knowledge in Solution Manager

  • Analytical mind, structured with attention to detail

  • Excellent communicator and team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and positive attitude

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities

  • Very strong verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Self-driven, flexible, open-minded professional and proactive team player who ensures implementation towards agreed goals and timelines

  • Enjoy working independently and taking on new challenges and demonstrate passion for continuous improvements

  • Demonstrated ability to explain a process in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audience

  • Willingness to travel during projects

  • Fluent language skills in English (verbal and written)
