Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for talented Electrical Hardware Designer to join our growing Engineering Solutions team. Randstad provides full life cycle services to multiple clients for the development of electronic products across multiple industries. The Electrical Hardware Designer provides electronics design expertise in support of product development and manufacturing.

responsibilities:

Job Duties

  • Provide embedded electronic design expertise in a cross-functional engineering team to develop and launch new products and support mass production.

  • Support development of test requirements, methods, and limits to confirm the quality of products during development and mass production.

  • Utilize design analysis and simulation tools to aid in circuit design and ensure products meet quality standards.

  • Digital/mixed-signal circuit design and software integration using microcontrollers, microprocessors, system-on-chip (SoC), or field programmable gate arrays (FPGA).

  • Analog circuit design and analysis using operational amplifiers, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), linear power supplies, and power management integrated circuits (PMIC).

  • Hardware development of driver assistance, image acquisition, video processing, or display systems.

  • Application of automotive EMC and quality standards to hardware design from concept through production.

  • Mentor Graphics Designer and Xpedition toolchain.

  • Documentation of hardware-software interface requirements.

  • Support debug of complex electronic designs and root cause analysis.

  • Support cross-functional design reviews with electronic design expertise.

  • Provide electronic design and analysis mentoring and training to co-workers.

  • Stay current with technology, manufacturing, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement of products, process, and methods.

  • Maintain knowledge of supplier capabilities, company processes, and practices to drive consistent high-quality development and manufacturing.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ Years of relevant professional working experience.

  • Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up, debugging, and functional verification.

  • Proficient experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolchain to perform PCB layout.

  • Previous professional work experience in automotive new product development.

  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
