Amentum UMP Field Service Representative - Fire Control Technician HIMARS-PATRIOT-AVENGER-1 in Zavzerni, Poland

Purpose: This position is part of the Ukraine Mentorship Program which advises, assists, and provides maintenance oversight of AFU personnel and repair operators, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment. Inspects all maintenance and repair efforts of Missile Systems, and Platforms alongside AFU personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Serve as the SME in electronic maintenance, provides advice and makes recommendations, notes discrepancies, and initiates appropriate corrective action.

  • Responsible for providing mentorship and advising AFU personnel on designated platform and ensuring tasks are completed to standard, track and collect historical data and accountability of AFU personnel who have attended.

  • Responsible for providing feedback from MRO and monitoring ESR for assigned platform.

  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and weapon systems.

  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, module and interconnecting cables to isolate malfunctions.

  • Assisting in fault isolating launcher-loader module electronic modules and assemblies.

  • Perform maintenance adjustments on test equipment; inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances.

  • Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, and cryogenic assemblies, modules and circuit elements using system associated equipment.

  • Removes and replaces defective line replaceable units including interconnecting cables

  • Determine serviceability, disposition of assemblies, subassemblies, and parts; remove and install prepare maintenance and supply forms.

  • Recommends procedures for receipt, storage, inspection, testing and repair of the Missile system and its components.

  • Supervises and coordinates support maintenance on light multiple rocket launcher (HIMARS M142) or similar MLRS systems.

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet company goals and objectives to include anything from servicing to major repairs of your assigned platform.

Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 6 years’ experience as a Missile System repair or Instructor, preferably HIMARS.

  • Prior military experience is a plus.

  • Preferred Army MOS94P (Army Multiple Launch Rocket Systems Repairer) or similar civilian experience. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.

  • If required must be able to obtain and hold a NACI Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

  • Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.

  • Knowledge with Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), preferred.

  • Must have valid driver’s license; international driver’s license preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Physical requirements include prolonged standing, moderate walking, repeated bending, and climbing, overhead work, working in cramped positions, lifting, pulling, and pushing weights up to 100 pounds. Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) and good hearing (with or without a hearing aid) required. Will work inside and outside in various weather conditions, subject to rapid changes in temperature due to nature of work. Hazards include danger from gas fumes, falls, electric shock and burns, cuts, and bruises. Must have normal color vision. When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must cease work and notify lead, supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions.
