Oracle Technical Program Manager for Cloud Operations in ZAPOPAN, Mexico

Job Description

Oracle NetSuite is one of the largest and most sophisticated accounts using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). To ensure that NetSuite’s usage of OCI is smooth it is the responsibility of the NSOCI team to handle the OCI Infrastructure (tenancies, compartments, etc.) on which NetSuite services are running, to support NetSuite teams with the adoption of the new OCI’s services and features, to analyze the usage of OCI and propose optimizations and to maintain good relationship with OCI’s teams and OCI in general.

Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate is an individual who has a good knowledge of IT and Cloud foundations and a willingness to expand on it, knows how to drive an assignment or a project from it’s initiation to its end, and has good communications skills that can act as the connection between technical and non-technical teams, as well as being able to present progress to high management. Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead Cloud accounts and infrastructure needed to run services on it (tenancies, compartments, …)

  • Implement standards, rules, guidelines, and best practices over the use of cloud services across multiple groups.

  • Perform and coordinate many concurrent projects in a dynamic work environment with various business partners from both internal and external organizations.

  • Run project schedules, identify possible issues, and communicate them to project collaborators.

  • Source, develop and apply tools to supervise, report and handle cloud services usage.

  • Analyze cloud usage and find targets for usage optimization.

  • Collaborate with OCI on various technologies to help introducing them to NetSuite.

  • Build and be a great partner between OCI and Netsuite teams. Discover new OCI offerings that might be interesting to NetSuite.

  • Work with NetSuite teams to support them in embracing new services and features in the Cloud.

Skills you need:

  • 3+ years of industrial experience in technical subjects in cloud computing, networking, or related technical fields.

  • Good oral and written communication skills to communicate technical subjects.

  • Cross-team collaboration and presentation skills.

  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills

  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

Skills that would be an advantage:

  • Hands-on experience with a cloud environment. Extra bonus if the cloud in question is OCI.

  • Experience as an IT engineer and IT program/project coordinator

  • Good analytical skills and experience with data sets and analytics tools

  • Basic knowledge of python

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
