Special Events Worker Position Summary To serve our external customers by providing timely and courteous pick-up and delivery of all on premise special events equipment. To ensure proper presentation of special event equipment in a timely manner. Essential Functions Delivers and picks up all Special Events equipment in a timely and professional manner. Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA and safety requirements, AIBI and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws); wears all required personal protective equipment. Communicates with customers and Pepsi management on issues regarding equipment, products, opportunities and problems that arise at the customer location; educates customers on basic equipment troubleshooting and cleaning. Completes time-off requests, preventative maintenance records, daily reports and other paperwork as required according to established standards. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required. Education High School or GEDrequired. Vocational / Technicalin electrical, HVAC, mechanics or related field preferred. Experience 1 - 3years of related experience and/or training Certifications & Licenses Class B CDL; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment. Other Requirements Knowledge of: beverage industry; product line; retail sales environment; CO2 systems, electrical and plumbing; basic mechanics and troubleshooting. Skill in: internal and external customer service in a variety of settings; basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently without direct supervision; adapt to change; display a professional, positive attitude; read (e.g. diagrams, maps, schematics) and write; perform basic math functions (e.g. addition, subtraction); communicate effectively with customers and other employees and develop good working relationships; be trained on operating hand tools, drive a vehicle; multi-task; problem solve.
