Eaton’s Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure has an exciting opportunity for a OpEx Supervisor in Youngsville, NC.

Relocation from wtihin the US will be offered!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,250 - $117,70 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s D-IT and CPS business has an exciting opportunity for a Operational Excellence Supervisor in Youngsville, NC.

In this position you will:

• Mentor and support CI Technicians to support initiatives in manufacturing.

• Document current state metrics such as cycle times, downtime, deficiencies, and WIP to make recommendations for improvement.

• Lead Value Stream Mapping initiatives that capture process steps, systems, hand-offs, bottlenecks, waste and misallocated resources.

• Develop computer simulations to inform layout decisions and lean material flow initiatives.

• Provide lean training to support a culture of continuous improvement.

• Own the site’s RIE Roadmap to strategically align with Operational Excellence areas of opportunity, and business vision.

• Develop and implement process standardization, visual controls, process checks and leader standard work through partnering with area operations supervisor and ME.

• Develop knowledge and best practice sharing across site and benchmark best practices across division.

• Create model cells, in conjunction with line ME and operations supervisors to deliver world class metrics.

• Design and deploy digital tier boars for real-time metric tracking and visual enterprise.

• Provide regular ELSS/CI updates to leadership team.

• Drive employee engagement through the Ideas program, own the tracking of submission, the progress, and drive to completion.

• Drive Cost out accountability for the site in alignment to plant’s profit plan goals.

• Build Eaton Lean Six Sigma organizational capability and develop ELSS Tools Champions by providing a training plan, and RIE alignment for certifications.

• Ensure maintenance of records and reports, such us RIE event documents, pre-work activities, focus factory files, SW templates, etc.

• Support NPI with manufacturing feasibility and industrialization activities including production layout, materials and costing for new products.

• Lead site’s readiness plan for OpA self-assessment and validated OpA assessment by driving action plan according to category open action items.

• Design and develop tooling, shadow boards, etc. to support the assembly and test of products.

• Lead the 5S+, Gemba process, LPA audits

• Champion industry 4.0 initiatives such as AMR/AGV and partner with manufacturing engineering team to deploy PCAT, digital torque tools and visual management systems, as needed.

• Lead initiatives for site improvement within next 5 years timeframe.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Continuous Improvement framework

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, PowerBI and simulation software

  • Exposure to Continuous Improvement training/events

  • Proficiency with components of Eaton Lean Six Sigma, Eaton Business Excellence, EHS, ProLaunch.
