Professional Surveyor -- Topographic/Boundary Surveys, Right of Way Plans - Youngstown, OH - JOB 24-00342 Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000* Permanent Position with Benefits.* A long-standing surveying and engineering company is seeking to hire a Professional Surveyor to perform field and office duties to complete surveying and mapping projects throughout Ohio. REQUIREMENTS

  • Registration as an Ohio Professional Surveyor.
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team/crew.
  • Experience with ODOT Surveying and Mapping Specifications.
  • Prequalification as an ODOT Right of Way Designer and/or Reviewer.
  • Ability to prepare, review, adhere to project budgets, schedules.
  • Seeking candidates that have good organizational & time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Experience with one or all: GNSS, Robotic Total Stations, Terrestrial Scanners, data collectors, automatic levels, drones.
  • Proper care, maintenance, calibration of field equipment.
  • Use of computer systems and software including: MS Office, Word, Excel, Trimble Business Center, Open Roads Designer. (Civil 3D optional).
  • Experience researching property, road records, chain of title, easements.
  • Ability to determine alignments and property boundaries by resolving field evidence and record documents.
  • Preparation of legal descriptions, closure reports.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving history.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
