ARAMARK Transportation Manager - Yosemite in Yosemite, California

Job Description

Manage Central Transportation (CT) operations in accordance with ARAMARK?s standardized program to meet or exceed client expectations, while staying within established budget guidelines.

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position is $66,560.00 - $75,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

? Manage and coordinate with Transportation Director all operational and support functions associated with vehicle interpretive tours within Yosemite National Park.

? To continually work with the Garage Manager for updated fleet information.

? Build a strong work team and positive environment by recruiting, hiring, training drivers and dispatchers in the day-to-day oversight, monitoring, evaluation, and operation of all Yosemite Hospitality bus driving activity in and around Yosemite National Park.

? Address client needs in a proper and responsive manner to ensure the highest level of service is provided.

? Oversee the driver Safety and Training Program including ensuring that monthly safety meetings are conducted, participating in Safety and Communications Meetings and all other scheduled Safety Meetings.

? Provide transportation support as a contracted service upon request to Yosemite Hospitality partners and outside organizations.

? Manage Driver DOT FMCSR compliance.

? Comply with Aramark's Injury/Accident Reporting.

? Enhance team building and manage staffing and performance of subordinates.

? Manage spending and meet or exceed department budget within established guidelines.

? Keep good internal communication and collaboration, problem solving oriented to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Some college experience or above

  • Work Experience: Managerial experience of at least 3 years, related work experience of at least 5 years in foreign property management company, hotel or office building are preferred.

  • Vocational Qualifications: Have relevant professional knowledge and working knowledge of Transportation.

  • Computer & Language: Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Willingness to learn different types of software, no specific requirements in foreign language.

  • Competency:

  • Customer service oriented. Good communicate with customers to meet or exceed requirements.

  • Ability to work under pressure. Be able to provide quick, effective, and creative solutions to problems.

  • Effective capability of implementation, good communication skills and a sense of teamwork.

  • Integrity and high sense of responsibilities, work enthusiasm, professional dedication.
