DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse position is responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and moving materials within the plant. This role involves operating overhead cranes and forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring production line equipment is continuously supplied with raw materials to minimize downtime. The Material Handler also performs computer functions related to inventory tagging, shipping, and receiving, and carries out other related tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities * Material Handling: Load and unload materials using overhead cranes and forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient operations * Inventory Management: Receive and accurately tag incoming inventory to ensure proper tracking and organization * Production Support: Maintain production line equipment by supplying raw materials to prevent downtime and support continuous operations * Computer Operations: Utilize computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping * Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support overall plant operations

Qualifications * Education: High School diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Mathematical Skills: Able to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to use units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance * Language Skills: Basic proficiency in reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively communicate with others. Capable of presenting information clearly in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and colleagues * Physical Examination: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility * Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history * Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks
