BAE Systems Senior Production Control Planner in York, Pennsylvania

Job Description

The role of BOM Production Control Planner is pivotal in ensuring the seamless auditing, modification, and upkeep of bills of material (BOMs). Collaborating closely with engineering design, manufacturing, and procurement teams, you will be responsible for orchestrating the structured release of Manufacturing BOMs (mBOMs) and their subsequent updates. Your duties encompass conducting meticulous data analysis, auditing mBOMs for accuracy, and expediting change orders to preserve the integrity of our mBOM database. Furthermore, you will meticulously review change documents such as ECO, ECN, ECP, RFC, RFV, etc., and maintain mBOM accuracy throughout the Product Lifecycle Management process. This position demands proactive engagement across departments to ensure the punctual and thorough completion of mBOMs and associated changes to existing mBOMs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor s degree with 4 years of hands-on experience in a Manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and practical expertise

  • Proficient in professional communication, adept at interacting with diverse stakeholders

  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial implications of BOM modifications

  • Mastery of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) Systems

  • Demonstrated ability to uphold the precision and reliability of Bills of Materials

  • Familiarity with change control protocols

  • Proficiency in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tools and processes, with a track record of managing complex stakeholder requirements and relationships

  • Technical acumen in product structure and manufacturing processes

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong time management and multitasking capabilities to consistently meet deadlines

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management

  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing system demand, particularly within Oracle platforms

  • Thorough understanding of product specifications

  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with robust problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending basic English

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Proficiency in EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management)

  • Familiarity with Oracle Workbench

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
