Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Senior Geotechnical Engineer in York, Pennsylvania

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer (PE) for our office in York, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit who wishes to take their career to the next level, including potential ownership!

Senior Geotechnical Engineering Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of subsurface investigations and geotechnical engineering analysis

  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot soils-related issues

  • Calculations which may include settlement, lateral earth pressures, bearing capacity, slope stability, etc.

  • Scope and fee development for proposals

  • Writing, preparation and review of reports and proposals for the services provided

  • Management of geotechnical and construction observation staff

  • Proactive in attracting new clients while maintaining existing client relationships

  • Involved in planning, research and evaluation of new market areas, sensitive to business interests and profitability

  • High potential for advancement into upper management

Senior Geotechnical Engineer Requirements:

  • 8 to 15+ years of experience as described above

  • BS Degree in civil engineering, geotechnical concentration preferred

  • Professional Registration (PE) required

  • MS Degree in geotechnical engineering preferred

  • Proven business development experience

  • Marketing Skills
