What you will do:

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for anin-person internshiplocated in York, PA over Summer 2024.This internshipis designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. The role is for an undergraduate intern position in the Air Handling Unit (AHU) Applicationand Project Engineering team, with a focus in Custom, Semi-Custom, or CRAH.As part of a team, you will work under the close direction of AHU Application and Project Engineers to apply and enhance your engineering and business skills. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it:

Provide support to Application and Project Engineers in designing, meeting requests of sales team, and preparing for manufacturing release of Air Handling Units.

Work with engineering to develop efficient resolutions to unique product applications.

Assist in the development and enhancement of Application and Project Engineering support tools used to price, design, and release Air Handling Equipment to production.

Participate in testing of selection and pricing software.

Updates pricing documents to reflect recent supplier changes.

Conducts accurate data analysis and develops reports for historical product metrics.

Participates as a member of a project team to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.

What we look for

RequiredQualifications:

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

Pursuing a degree in Engineering

An effective communicator to all levels of the organization

Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current or rising senior status

Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD

Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred

Strong problem-solving skills
