BAE Systems GFM Material Planner II in York, Pennsylvania

Job Description

BAE is looking for a Government Furnished Material Planner for our Combat Mission Systems line of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the planning of Government Furnished Material for multiple programs and sites.

  • Research, report, and submit on time all GFM activities within monthly and/or weekly CDRL submittals to the customer.

  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Contracts, Project Management, Operations, and Senior Leadership teams to ensure timely delivery of GFM to support production needs.

  • Identify possible line shortages, work to resolve any non-conforming material, and request dispositions needed from USG.

  • Perform inventories, reconcile discrepancies, while identifying and communicating production impacts.

  • Perform PMSA and FIAR audits.

  • Understand procedure timeframes, comply within, and ensure additional sites adhere as well.

  • Attend USG IPT meetings.

  • Attend program tier meetings and line walks.

  • Maintain open communication lines with Line Planners, Operations, Contracts, Program Management, and our USG counterparts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience and overall knowledge of Government Property (GFM)

  • Experience and overall knowledge of the FAR 52.245-1

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being self sufficient

  • Ability to work on a team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Property Certification in National Property Management Association (NPMA).

  • Experience in a Defense Contracting environment.

  • Oracle ERP.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
