Work hours: M-F: 6 AM-2:30 PM

Pay: $30-$34 per hour.

Job Description

MUST BE A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN

What You’ll Do

  • This role involves operating, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

  • Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and complying with safety codes and regulations.

  • The position also requires the use of electrical test equipment, installation of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems, and maintaining detailed maintenance records.

  • Occasional driving of a company vehicle is required.

  • While there are no formal supervisory duties, the role provides technical guidance and task coordination for coworkers, ensuring timely completion of projects.

You will need to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of seven years experience as a licensed electrician

  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves:

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program is preferred.

  • Prior experience with DDC and EMS preferred.

  • Master Electrician license as dictated by local electrical codes

Education and Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and to understand operating budgets.

  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.

  • Conducts basic financial analysis.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.

  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Uses personal computer and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS, and training.

  • Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
