Join Our Genetic Counseling Team as an Administrative Assistant, Associate!

Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for helping others? We’re looking for a dynamic Administrative Assistant, Associate to be the backbone of our genetic counseling team! In this role, you’ll be the friendly face and voice that guides our patients through their journey, from scheduling appointments to ensuring their medical records are in perfect order.

What You'll Do:

  • Patient Scheduling: Efficiently coordinate and schedule patient appointments.

  • Intake Management: Administer patient intake forms via mail and email.

  • Benefits Investigation: Perform thorough benefits investigations to support genetic counseling services.

  • Medical Records Handling: Oversee the submission and completion of medical records requests.

  • Appointment Confirmation: Conduct confirmation calls to ensure patients are prepared for their appointments.

  • Chart Preparation: Prepare patient charts meticulously for genetic counseling appointments.

To excel in this role, you must be a strong multi-tasker who can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This position works Monday through Friday, daylight hours at our York, PA location. No evenings, weekends, or holidays are required!

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Up to one year of administrative experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation, and database software

  • Ability to use applicable MS Suite products.

  • Knowledge of business processes and procedures

  • Ability to use basic reasoning skills

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34
