Maxim Healthcare Services RN - Homecare in York, Maine

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs to work one-on-one in the private homecare setting with a Adult patient! Currently this patient has a G-tube, shifts are split up from 5-7am (you'd be helping patient get ready for school) and 5-8/9pm (afterschool care) for 5 days a week. If you'd like to work weekends as well, then there are openings for that as well. Family is very nice and is looking for help right now.

Are you a nurse looking to further your education and learn new skills?

Maxim Healthcare Services now offers several training programs for nurses looking to advance their skill sets. Training programs include pediatric training, trach training, ventilator training, and many more! These programs provide caregivers with training and experience to work comfortably and confidently in the homecare setting. Maxim does not require previous homecare experience; new graduate nurses are also welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

  • Performs focused interviews to identify specific patient needs.

  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.

  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members.

  • Other Registered Nurse duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse Unencumbered License for the state of Maine or another compact state.

  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

  • Current Health Certificate (per facility).

  • Current BLS or AHA Healthcare Provider CPR Certification.

  • Flu vaccination
