ThePackaging Laborer is responsible for packaging productsin the refinery.

Hourly rate: $19.47

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleaning of any area or machine
  • Changing screens in any area
  • Operating melter in any area
  • Packing product on any line
  • Operating the industrial brown machine
  • Operating the industrial powder machine
  • Operating 40 pound gran machine
  • Transporting empty packaging materials for any machine
  • Work and training assignments are made at the discretion of management based uponneeds of the company and the individual's ability, knowledge, skills and training needs
  • Ability to:
    • lift up to 50lbs
    • use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and tools
    • walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, and climb constantly throughout the shift
    • reach, bend, twist, rotate, push and pull frequently
    • work in confined spaces
    • work independently as well as a team player
    • climb up and down ladders

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

  • No

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

  • Must be able to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform tasks while wearing all required PPE such as but not limited to protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
