PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for the nightly live broadcast of horse racing activity, set up and operation of sound, lighting equipment, cameras, projectors, microphones, for live performances and events. Must work well with other team members in a broadcast control room and live entertainment/event environment. Promotes positive public and employee relations. Performs other duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates all media convergence equipment such as:

  • Technical Director (TD) training for more advanced and experienced employees.

  • Graphics, Tapes and Audio Mixers are other Control Room duties.

  • Operate Video Cameras, Robotic Camera Controls, Setup Equipment for Day-to-Day Operations.

  • Racetrack and Events Photography.

  • Setup/Break down equipment for Live Entertainment.

  • Monitor front of house Sound and Lighting equipment. Banquet functions where A/V is requested.

  • Audio/Video archiving.

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Prefer at least one year broadcast and/or live sound experience.
