KBR Sr. Logistics Analyst in Yokohama, Japan

Title:

Sr. Logistics Analyst

KBR is searching for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support our efforts in Yokohama, Japan. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience of Army Logistics processes and procedures, DOD, and/or industry standards and requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking leadership of technical/administrative projects and tasks, developing reports and tracks progress of assigned projects.

  • Maintaining appropriate records and prepares reports.

  • Coordinating logistics activities with internal/external customers.

  • Providing activity and status reports to management when needed.

  • Monitoring inventory and analyzing requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

  • Analyzing contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares or maintenance/repair requirements.

  • Developing logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies. Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.

  • Working independently, receives minimal guidance.

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years related experience in the logistics field.

  • Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

  • Understanding of technical drawings, OEM manuals and Military Technical Manuals.

  • Experience with Army Watercraft systems a plus.

  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
