We are now looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to provide HR support to Software Engineering teams, reporting to the Director of SW HRBP. We are looking for someone to be passionate about supporting and creating strategies to enable NVIDIA to achieve success. You’ll partner with a cross-functional group of subject matter experts to design and execute strategies for how we staff, onboard, develop, motivate, reward, retain and organize work. You will need excellent communication skills, critical thinking and planning ability, and the agility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment.

What you'll be doing:

This position will be an integral enabler of the mission of the Business Unit. In this position you will partner with the senior leaders in the Software Engineering organizations along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies that champion organizational and people effectiveness. You will think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and dive deep into practical application. You must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business as it grows rapidly. At NVIDIA, the HR Business Partner also serves as a liaison between the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with assigned senior leadership and management teams to understand business strategies, diagnose current organization performance, and develop/implement plans to build needed organization capabilities and support bold growth.

  • Partnering with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and building management bench strength.

  • Reviewing and analyzing business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend systemic improvements.

  • Partnering with the business to lead annual review processes which focus on performance management and talent development, working with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client group.

  • Providing compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.

  • Being a key member of the HR leadership team helping to develop world-class HR capabilities.

  • Working with line managers and employees to address various employee issues, fairly representing all interests.

  • Driving teamwork within Global HR to provide excellent HR service delivery.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 15+ years of experience with strong organizational and people assessment skills

  • Strong analytical thinker, creative in approach to talent acquisition and highly inquisitive.

  • Consulting experience

  • Broad business acumen

  • Has a data driven approach with strong analytics

  • Obsession with employee support

  • Known for high judgment, high bias for action, and demonstrated ability to deliver results
