Job Overview

WP Resources is looking for an on-site journeyman electrician for our aggregate and sand processing plant in Yoder, WY. This role may require travel to other project and mine sites. This position will report to the Site Operations Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing existing equipment
  • Determining condition of electrical equipment, troubleshooting malfunctions, and determining needed repairs
  • Identifying materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
  • Evaluating site requests, providing pricing to complete projects
  • Provides a safe, hazard free environment
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Must possess License Journeyman Electrician for WY, or ability to obtain a license through reciprocity within 6 weeks of hire, master journeyman preferred
  • Substantial experience working with 3 phase motors in range of 10Hp to 150Hp, Soft starts, VFDs and PLCs
  • Ability to define problems and offer solutions
  • Strong teamwork
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of role:
    • Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Bending/Stooping - 6 to 8 hours daily
    • Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) - Regularly
    • Lift and Carry (50/60 lbs. for 20 feet) - Regularly
    • Push / Pull - 6 to 8 hours daily
