Job Information

RealTruck Inc. Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift (Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM) in Yankton, South Dakota

Shift:

  • Weekend (Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Position Requirements:

  • Prioritizes tasks for repair flow issues and execution of continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for general equipment maintenance, including sewing machines, manufacturing equipment, PLC.
  • Follows and executes preventative maintenance program on all production machines.
  • Sets up and operates welding equipment when necessary.
  • Responsible for general fabrication of parts, including metals, wood, plastics, and milling.
  • Troubleshoots production machines.
  • Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
  • Assists in the development, improvement, and modification of equipment to better accommodate production needs.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to six months sewing machine and CNC machine maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to pass mobile equipment certification test and operate mobile equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
