Schieffer Masonry & Concrete General Laborer in YANKTON, South Dakota

Seeking an individual who has some general labor experience in concrete and masonry work. But will train the right person. Wage range $17-$20 per hour dependent on experience. Driver's License preferred.

Perform tasks involving physical labor for concrete and masonry construction projects. Employee will operate a variety of hand and power tools. Employee will clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble, debris and remove waste materials along with assisting other employees.

  • Perform a variety of jobs involvingmanual labor in masonry and concrete projects while performing manual work to prepare surface/site for concrete.
  • Saw cuts
  • Could include shovel/wheelbarrow concrete into construction area.
  • Maintain a clean job site, requiring picking up all tools, equipment while securing job site each day to ensure safety and any theft that may occur.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of all related tools and equipment.
  • Loading and unloading trucks along with hauling and hoisting up materials.
  • Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
