Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services, Inc. EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) in Yankton, South Dakota

Lewis and Clark Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) is recruiting for an EMT position. The position will be responsible to provide care to youth and adults experiencing mental health and addiction crisis. The role will be primarily positioned at The Core Center, which provides 24/7 crisis care services for youth and adults, while also performing duties at the Ebel Recovery Center, which provides substance use treatment and detoxification services for adults.

The position will serve as part of our nursing care team, coordinating care delivery to ensure patients have their needs met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, agency policies and procedures, project goals, as well as federal, state, and local guidelines.

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend (weekends are Fri-Sat-Sun) Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd Holiday Shift and Length: 12 hours, 0630-1900

Requirements:South Dakota EMT licensure required;Previous experience with inpatient medical care, withdrawal management, and behavioral healthcare preferred;CPR certification required within 30 days of hire; Valid drivers license.
