Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Service Operations Specialist is a developing role within the Support Services Operations Management team. This role works closely with internal service delivery teams to assist with the planning, coordination and monitoring of the implementation of operational activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans and to continuously improve service delivery. The main responsibility of the Senior Associate Service Delivery Operations Specialist is to ensure that less complex services are delivered effectively and efficiently by carrying out routine operational tasks and assisting with the implementation of a services model that meets business needs for clients.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Support Presales activity, technical detail design and making proposal for customer requirement

Support Project management, implementation and operation support activities

Take responsibility for problem resolution and troubleshooting as Tier 2 Engineer

Experience with routing, switching and firewall. (e.g., Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, VPN etc.)

Able to do technical design, deploy and troubleshooting of complex LAN and WAN

Monitor network performance and knowledge with monitoring tools

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Strong customer service focus

Strong communication skills and ability to prepare structured, and relevant communications to operations leaders

Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Ability to quickly become proficient in delivery processes and related systems

Demonstrated strong ability to analyse, design and improve operations processes.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Computer Science / Information Technology Degree or equivalent together with specialized training in new technologies and legacy systems or equivalent

Professional certifications (CCNP or CCIE)

Required Experience:

Moderate level of work experience in service delivery within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment

Moderate level of experience gained in a service delivery environment including technical and service management exposure

Moderate level of experience in managing customer escalation situations and objection handling

Moderate level of demonstrated support operations experience
