Job Summary Central Washington University is recruiting two part-time HEP Instructors (Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 1) to join our High School Equivalency Program team in Yakima, Washington. This role is an important member of our team as they promote student success for HEP for the University. Learn more: Benefits, Perks, and Leave. The Role: The HEP Instructor will provide GED instruction and tutoring to migrant and seasonal farmworkers in both English and Spanish. This position will need to be knowledgably in all four GED subjects (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts) and be ready to teach in all four subjects when needed. In addition, this position will be responsible for updating HEP curriculum, provide motivational activities, tutoring, and other duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the HEP Program Manager and provides leadership and support to colleagues. All employees are expected to support CWU's commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment.
