Job Summary

Safely operate all Fluorosint equipment in accordance with manufacturing order and associated control plans in order to minimize down time and optimize quality.

What You Will Do...

  • Comply with all company policies, rules, and procedures.

  • Take appropriate action in emergencies.

  • Mix, process, and blend material to FFM powder.

  • Fill, pack, and process material for rod, tubular bar, and plate for FFM molding.

  • Prepare FFM powder and molding product for packing and shipping according to shipping specifications.

  • Run and operate Fluorosint equipment (including: Ovens, Presses, Mixers, Micro-Grinder, Ball Mill, etc.) according to the SOPs, optimizing efficiency and quality while troubleshooting process problems.

  • Maintain, record, and report accurate production and work documentation, including the necessary computer transactions.

  • Initiate and support activities to minimize down time and improve product quality.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose and eliminate problems incurred in the Fluorosint process and communicate all problems to the appropriate personnel.

  • Perform visual inspection of tooling and perform minor maintenance as needed.

  • Initiate/communicate quality, safety, and process improvement actions.

  • Perform and record in-process quality checks and take corrective action in the event of process deviations.

  • Assist maintenance, supervision, and/or engineering personnel in problem solving, new equipment, or tooling design to maximize efficiency and prevent downtime.

  • Maintain work areas and company property to an acceptable housekeeping cleanliness (5S).

  • Safely operate Powered Motor Vehicles (PMVs).

  • Attend courses for training and retraining as required.

  • Perform all duties as assigned by supervision or lead person.

  • Rotating work schedule 7:00PM-7:00AM.

What You Will Have...

  • High school diploma or equivalent English reading, writing, mathematical, and comprehension skills.

  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions provided in SDS sheets, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).

  • Working knowledge of measuring equipment, including tape measure, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Physically able to perform work assignments.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Must have general mechanical aptitude.

  • Computer literate.

  • Is committed to “Injury Free Concept”. Follows all safety requirements necessary to be injury-free while performing work.

“The Starting hourly rate for this position is $18.39 - $22.30. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.”
