    SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Friday

  • 40+ hours

  • Overtime after 40 hours

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Areas of specific responsibility will include the following.

  • Perform vehicle repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and will perform optimally.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections and annual maintenance inspections.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems.

  • Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately (including hours and usage of parts).

  • Evaluate completed work, and if necessary, consult with supervisor to ensure machine/truck is functioning properly and meets safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment (Safety is not just our first name!)

  • Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in an effective and timely manner.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Important technical skills/functional abilities include:

  • Valid driver’s license. CDL preferred. Tanker/hazmat certification a plus

  • DOT med card required

  • Vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

  • Must be able to lift or move 40 lbs. and complete repetitive lifting, bending, and stooping or kneeling.

  • Must have appropriate mechanic’s toolset.

  • One to two years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or a combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic systems, DPF and DEF systems as well as AC

  • Electrical and electronics

  • Good people skills and a positive attitude!

  • Isuzu, Peterbilt, Ford, International, Paccar and Cummins experience is a plus.
