Die Tech and Engineering Tool and Die Makers in Wyoming, Michigan

Die-Tech and Engineering specializes in producing high pressure diecast and plastic injection tooling for a wide range of industries throughout the Midwest. We are seeking Tool and Die Makers with experience in high pressure diecast and plastic injection mold-making.

Requirements and Position Details:

Proficient blueprint reading and interpretation skills and the ability to plan, layout and execute manufacturing methods and sequence of operations best suited to make tooling to design specifications

Willing to work as part of a team, possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative, give feedback to project managers to resolve issues on the shop floor

Experience with Bridgeport mills, surface grinders, lathes, radial arm drill press, and various hand tools required for the job

Experience spotting dies and fitting components, benching/polishing

Competency using and reading precision measurement tools and applying shop math and trig to ensure work pieces and made to design specifications

Prioritize and follow through on projects and be flexible to changes in priority while keeping track of multiple tool builds at once

Ensure safe working practices and a healthy work environment for oneself and co workers

Must own or be willing to acquire their own tools
