Kellanova Production Scheduler II in Wyoming, Michigan

As a Plant Production Scheduler II, you’ll partner with operations and maintenance teams to implement and modify production plans, driving results at our Wyoming, MI plant facility. This onsite role has first shift regular business hours that can be anywhere from 7 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive environment where scheduling and master planning drive successful outcomes. Your role is all about strategic execution. Beyond this, there are exciting growth opportunities where you could advance into procurement or leadership roles within the plant. Your exceptional relationship-building skills and effective communication at all levels will be key to your success.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting the Pace – Create the weekly production schedule aligned with corporate requirements. Your attention to detail will serve you well, because getting things off to a great start is a must!

  • Navigating Unique Needs - Your insights are key to this role, so we’ll look to you to understand departmental complexities. You’ll use this information to effectively communicate across the teams to meet scheduling needs.

  • Thinking Strategically – Strategically procure raw and pack materials to guarantee inventories at lowest dollar levels while ensuring material availability to meet the plant’s production schedule.

  • Collaborating to Win - Interact with vendors and corporate product availability team to work through challenges. Your ability to work as a team player and troubleshooter is key to your success.

  • Driving Efficiency – Ensure all material checks are completed to support each schedule. You’ll also assist in resolving material quality issues and coordinating inter-plant transfers. Thanks to you, the plant will operate more smoothly than before!

    We're Looking for Someone With

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Understanding of production operation, scheduling procedures and previous demonstrated experience with scheduling

  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

  • Ability to effectively communicate and problem-solve
