Are you looking for career growth and a chance to get perspective into an industry from ground zero, gaining valuable supervisory skills? Are you a strong team player with a work ethic second to none? If so, Manhattan Beer Distributors is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.

This position is ideal for a capable and ambitious individual accustomed to working in a high volume environment under tight deadlines.

How Will You Contribute?

  • Ensure productivity, accuracy, timely completion of the loading/unloading operation.

  • Ensuring pick lines are properly replenished as needed.

  • Maintaining the FIFO pipeline and appropriate counting and slotting of inventory

  • Ensuring pick locations are organized and efficient

  • Adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.

  • Assign work of incoming freight (trains/trailers) to forklift drivers.

  • Assist in the training and developing on new employees.

  • Ensuring that staff complete training requirements.

  • Accurately send/receive transfers to and from other warehouses.

  • Assist other departments (Recycling, Delivery) with the check-in and check-out process.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm

  • Associates Degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of warehousing and distribution experience in a high volume environment.

  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

  • Familiarity and comfort level with WMS warehousing technology.

  • Understands the concept of FIFO, counting inventory and has slotting experience.

  • Experience working with a unionized crew a plus.

  • Has experience in operating a forklift.

  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. Advanced skills a plus.

  • Detail oriented, with ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Salary: $60,000.00-$65,000.00

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
