Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

  • POVBC PM: Measure tank grounding、Measure POVBC tools insulation,LOTO, etc.

  • MOB(年修) item execution: Corning supervision of contractor, track MOB item and feedback to PEM-TOD engineer, support function test with PEM-TOD engineer (MFC/BCF function test…etc.)

  • Hot/Cold repair check-out & start-up: Support troubleshooting with TOD start-up leader、Support startup follow ups、Support pre-drain/ post-light MFAP test with PEM-TOD engineer、Support Delivery low power test/ DHPS low power test/ Tank phasing…etc. with TOD engineer

  • First level D2D troubleshooting with TSG & SOP

  • Report & meeting: Handover/Issue report to MMA shifts and TOD. Attend MMA shift handover meetings as well as TOD regular meetings.

  • Receive routine class/ annual refresher Training from PEM-TOD engineer for skill-up and new technology training

  • Be the TOD MPERT Team controller

  • Provide and attend TOD MPERT TEAM-Refresh training, Tabletop, Regular Drill, unnoticed Drill.

  • TOD PM/SOS checklist and Maximo system work order execution

  • Execute the work assignment from TOD/MMA leader

  • Receive TOD shift team OJT/ Training Plan/ annual refresh training from PEM-TOD engineer

  • Support MMA tank key events such as PR, Globar, UDES replacement, etc.

Education & Experience

Education: College degree in Electrical / Mechanical or related engineering

High/Low voltage electrician Certification

Experience: 5 yrs in Equipment maintenance

Required Skills

  • Understand basic electrical/ control component

  • Ability of circuit drawing reading

  • PLC control system hardware troubleshooting

  • Ability of Human Machine Interface (HMI) operation

  • Industry VFD/ Motor control system hardware troubleshooting

  • Ability of Industry wiring and troubleshooting

  • Basic English reading/writing skill

  • LOTO understand/practice and execution

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Process trouble shooting & prevention & data-drive, and root cause finding

  • Ability of operating Microsoft office, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Soft Skills
