Key Responsibilities

  • Performs all standard service activities through Tier I with moderate assistance. Performs standard Tier II with assistance. Able to perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes.

  • Responds to fab issues in a timely manner and partners with other engineers as required. Verifies operational quality of system equipment without needing assistance.Assists senior engineers as needed.

  • Follows all checklists and procedures. Ensures correct Revs of procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work with little to no supervision.

  • Performs BKM’s.Actively engages in the use of knowledge management systems. Complies with all IP guidelines.

  • Able to diagnose and resolve recurring technical problems with little assistance. Demonstrates ability to execute escalation plans; independently able to resolve Day-Day issues. Assists in preparing and delivering status on technical issues to internal stakeholders. Demonstrates knowledge in fundamental theories. Continues to develop in-depth knowledge of equipment. Demonstrates ability to read and understand circuit diagrams. Partners with experienced team to gain additional knowledge from the experts. Continues to enhance skillset for assigned product and platform.

  • Applies diagnostic techniques, uses proper forms of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers (Testing). Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems (Corrective maintenance).

  • Owns responsibility for customer satisfaction within work area. Executes to plan and communicates with both the customer & management.

  • Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value. Seeks assistance when needed.

Other Requirements: This is a physically demanding position that often requires extensive walking, standing for extended periods of time, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 35 lbs., the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position generally involves working in a clean room, it requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
