The EMEA Customer Finance team is responsible for customer credit risk management and collections of our trade receivables. This role is to add to our Customer Finance Analyst talent pool.

This role will deliver reports to management for information and decision making, ensure that the right level of allowance is made in Compliance with ASC 326 — Current expected credit loss standard (CECL), and support all requests for interpretation of our accounts receivable trends by country and Business Units.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing & identifying trends in aging, DSO, bad debts and provide an executive summary to management, and preparing monthly/quarterly reporting for internal partners (including collecting needed input)

  • Preparing DSO budgets/forecasts together with the Customer Finance Leader, ensure it is accurately reflected in the system, and analyze actuals vs budget/forecast.

  • Facilitating calls with internal partners when requested and co-operating closely with the Collections team in the Wroclaw Shared Service Center to guarantee customer focus and meet Customer Finance targets.

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations of accounts and ensuring that the prescribed related cycle internal & SOX controls are executed (collaboration with an internal and external audit when required)

  • Participating in the project(s) to be a part of the implementation of new business developments and ensure requirements from a Customer Finance perspective are considered.

  • Becoming an expert in Customer Finance processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement agreed improvements.

From you, we expect excellent Excel skills with the ability to crunch data and prepare dashboards (Power BI will be an advantage), 2-3 years of practical experience in a multinational Finance environment. While being proficient in English is a must!

Apart from that, we are looking for:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Administration, or Language.

  • Being a team player.

  • Strong analytical & planning skills to combine different things at the same time

  • Drive for results, customer orientation, and an eye for innovation

  • Excellent communication skills (needs to be able to discuss with higher management)
