Stellar has an immediate opportunity for a VTC / ADPE Techician to support the Air Force at Wrigh-Patterson AFB in the Dayton, OH., area.

Primary Duties: 

  • Monitors, schedules, operates, and maintains the customer’s video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and network and coordinates connection with numerous sites, proficient in operation of various audiovisual components. 

  • May coordinate installation or install video equipment. 

  • Troubleshoots VTC networks. 

  • Provides training on VTC systems and may train others to use equipment. 

  • Explains and demonstrates installation of VTC equipment to operators, using hand-tools and following vendor manuals. 

  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

  • Performs a variety of VTC and network-related tasks.

      Education / Certifications / Experience: 

  • Requires ahigh school diploma or GED with vocational training desirable. 

  • Two (2) years of experience in operating, scheduling, and maintaining conference and videoconference facilities. 

  • Experience in secure and unsecure VTC Operations, VTC troubleshooting, and set-up is preferred.

  • Must be experienced in PowerPoint briefings. 

  • Must have experience in performing user level preventative maintenance on equipment and coordinating with equipment vendors as necessary.

    Security Clearance & Certification Requirements:

  • Must currently possess & be able to maintain a current/active DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

  • Must be willing & able to become certified by GVS as a VTC Facilitator, Level I.

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
