What you’ll do:

To provide a high quality administrative, clerical and reception service for the Eaton Worksop site. Responsible for all reception duties between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8:00am to 2:30pm (Friday).

• Welcome visitors, ensure they sign in and out of the premises and issue appropriate PPE

• Answer incoming calls promptly, transfer to relevant departments and ensure messages are conveyed timely and accurately

• Ensure that telephone extension lists and telephone procedures are kept up to date and issued

• Issue safety shoes/ workwear for new employees and provide locker management for all employees

• Co-ordinate inductions for contractors and ensure contractors are listed on the approved contractor list

• Maintain, control and issue the Fire Roll Call list updates

• Raise Purchase Orders through SAP (full training will be given)

• Order and control stationary supplies

• Manage diary bookings for pool hire vehicle use, whilst ensuring that users are on the approved driving list. Organise lease vehicles as and when requested whilst ensuring the most cost-effective hire periods as agreed.

• Carry out arrangements for outside visitors including room bookings and catering requirements (to liaise with Canteen)

• Ensure that office files are kept in order

• Open and distribute the post on a daily basis

• Ensure the reception area and marketing suite are maintained to the highest standards

• Assist the Plant Manager and HR Manager with administration duties as required"

Qualifications:

Skills:

• Experience working as a receptionist in a corporate office environment

• Excellent administrative skills

• Strong working experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, OneNote and Teams

• Good level of IT skills

• Telephone/switchboard experience (customer care)
