IOL Specialist - East Midlands
To be successful you will need to:
Significantly demonstrable ability to grow business in a sales environment
Demonstrable ability to sell complex products in a clinical environment
Have the ability to forecast accurately predicted sales
Effectively network within a clinical or hospital environment
Learn about competitor businesses and products and be able to sell professionally against them
Have knowledge of NHS structures and hospital sales
Be able to gain complex clinical knowledge of products and be able to pass this on at various different levels of theatre or medical staff
Gain knowledge of complex legal selling cycles such as tender or contractual agreements
Recognize sales training either from FMCG or other marketplaces
Medical devices background - Desirable
Be a goal driven, tenacious sales professional with experience in a longer buying cycle
Have significant ability to flex style to be able to connect with different points in a theatre or hospital environment
Be able to understand the marketplace and market drivers driving clinicians and customers
Be a good Account Manager - used to growing business within this setting
Have the ability to produce creative and appropriate sales solutions to drive business in the territory
Be able to gain tender commitments to purchase products
Driving sales of IOL range and other disposables in allocated accounts
Launching and driving sales of new products into allocated accounts
Detailing products to ophthalmologists as well as other relevant clinical staff
Working closely with IOL specialist and business development teams to identify and close sales into NHS and other structures to gain new business
Working closely with Key Account team to deliver drive lines into National Accounts as appropriate
