ASM Global Concession Stand Worker in Worcester, Massachusetts

POSITION SUMMARY :

Assists in the concessions operations in the facility by performing the following duties

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General cleaning and upkeep of stand

  • Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned concession stand

  • Performs location worker assignments

  • Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees

  • Plans for daily sales flow based on projections

  • Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Concession Lead

  • Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times

  • Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage

  • Performed other related duties as assigned by supervisor

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required .     EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures

  • Basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations

  • Must be ServSafe Certified (have alcohol service training)

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Professional communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized

  • Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly

  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work

  • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as needed

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English

  • Hold a professional attitude and appearance

  • Must be at least 18 years old

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Must be able to stand for long periods , walk and navigate stairs . Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
