Role Overview:

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst, you will play a key role in strategically designing, implementing, and maintaining BI software and systems. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of integrations with databases, data lakes, and warehouses, as well as the selection, design, and rollout of BI and reporting solutions to a diverse user base. Ensuring high levels of system availability, testing reporting systems, and continuously optimizing data processes and technology will be vital aspects of this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically design, implement, and maintain BI software and systems to support the organization's data-driven decision-making process.

  • Develop integrations with databases, data lakes, and warehouses to streamline data flow and accessibility for BI purposes.

  • Select, design, and deploy BI and reporting solutions catering to various end users' needs and preferences.

  • Ensure high levels of system availability through proactive support functions and timely issue resolution.

  • Conduct in-depth testing of reporting systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.

  • Continuously optimize data processes and technology to improve efficiency, scalability, and usability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing BI software and systems, including integrations with databases and data warehouses.

  • Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and database querying languages (SQL, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and reliability.

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of BI solutions.
