As a Colleague Relations Investigator for our client, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment, conducting thorough investigations into workplace complaints. You'll utilize our Colleague Relations Investigator Playbook, reviewing company policies and procedures to assess for violations, legal, and financial risks. Collaboration with legal partners and other departments such as Risk Management, Loss Prevention, Security, and Compliance will be essential. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Investigating workplace complaints, focusing on cases of alleged discrimination, retaliation, harassment, workplace violence, and wage & hour issues. You'll typically handle 1-3 cases per business day.

  • Managing an average caseload of 30-40 active investigations, working autonomously and collaboratively with other investigators, and regularly communicating with the lead director on case progress.

  • Creating individualized investigation plans, conducting interviews, reviewing CCTV footage, analyzing internal company documents, and maintaining electronic documentation of casework in the Salesforce case management system.

  • Providing expert advice, guidance, and counsel to leaders on Colleague Relations issues related to your investigations.

  • Collaborating with Colleague Relations peers to promote a positive company culture and provide a positive experience to our client's Health colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Employee Relations investigations experience.

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Service Now.

  • Proficiency with electronic note-taking and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

∙ Investigate workplace complaints with a focus on cases of alleged discrimination, retaliation, harassment, workplace violence along with wage & hour. Assignment of 1-3 cases per business day.

  • Daily interactions with other investigators & employee relations advisors to thought partner and collaborate on related cases

  • Regular communication with lead director to advise on progression of cases.

∙ Responsible for creating individualized investigation plans, interviewing colleagues, reviewing CCTV footage, analyzing internal company documents such as policies, payroll, corrective actions, expense reports and timecards.
