The Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) will be the technical subject matter expert responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology as well as working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, to then transform them into specifications that can be implemented.

Essential Functions:

Testing and deploying PLM solutions.

Providing ongoing technical support to end users.

Architect solutions to ensure effective use of product lifecycle management systems per industry standards and best practices.

Analyze the current technology infrastructure ad its ability to support business objectives.

Lead the collection of business requirements and analyze complexity to recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Access technologies and create technical specifications, process diagrams, and review data models for application development.

Ensure that all development and/or corrective software has been fully tested and documented.

Work with IT Management to identify risks and recommend steps for escalation, prioritization, and risk mitigation.

Evaluate and implement third-party software solutions as needed and advise IT management of software purchases and/or version upgrades.

Drive technical design decisions and maintain project documentation, deliverables, plans, schedules, and status reports.

Deploy applications through development, testing, training, and production environments.

Perform root cause analysis for issues in the production environment.

Prepare and maintain documentation such as user guides, training materials, and application technical documents.

Work with customers of all levels to provide group or one-on-one training.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

Bachelor\'s degree in a computer-related field, engineering field, or equivalent experience required.

Advanced degree(s) in a computer-related field preferred.

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 9 years\' experience architecting, managing, and administering PLM environments required.

Prior manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Prior automotive industry and/or heavy equipment industry experience preferred.

Broad experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD); preferably Siemens Teamcenter and/or PTC Creo.

Experience and initiative to improve current processes.

Ability to apply IT solutions to business problems.

Ability to stay up to date with emerging technologies and changing IT trends and/or best practices.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines during concurrent assignments.

Ability to mentor and train others as needed.

Ability to travel as required.
