PlanetArt is looking for a CMMS Admin/Maintenance Technician to support the company’s maintenance department. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the administration of Hippo CMMS software. Opening job tickets, scheduling preventative maintenance, and keeping accurate inventory of equipment and parts. Candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of the software from an administrator’s side; add new equipment, add additional parts, generate custom reports as requested, and so forth. Additionally, required to complete physical maintenance work such as equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, monthly equipment checks, etc.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration of CMMS software and open tickets

  • Receive and process incoming work orders, reprioritize as needed.

  • Schedule, track and follow up on preventative maintenance tasks

  • Keep accurate inventory of parts. Add parts and equipment to CMMS database

  • Follow up on completed tasks. Ensure proper documentation and close cases.

  • Build a knowledgebase.

  • Build custom reports.

  • Obtain training and read manuals of new equipment; build checklists and add preventative maintenance scheduled assignments within Hippo CMMS

  • Perform job duties as assigned: preventative maintenance tasks and break fix on equipment.

  • Order parts and communicate with vendors.

  • Develop daily/monthly maintenance checklists.

  • Update maintenance procedures.

  • Responsible to gain in-depth knowledge on all production and facilities equipment.

  • Read and fully understand equipment service manuals.

  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You Should Have

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent is preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a maintenance role including user or administrator of CMMS software.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Ability to work changing hours and possibly night shift for 6 weeks.

  • Ability to work overtime.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to heavy machinery, dust, fluctuating temperatures and moderate noise levels
