Summary of Role:

We are searching for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. This individual will play an integral role in shaping our Global Sourcing Process with a special focus on Front End Sourcing. This role is critical in enabling GF to develop new products aligned to the sourcing strategy and to maximize cost competitiveness. You will be responsible to represent Procurement in all new Product Development activities and will act as a liaison between the Product Development Team and the internal Procurement Teams. This role may expand to additional opportunities in the future to help drive the overall Sourcing Team’s strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Bill of Materials requirement and address sourcing decisions early in the Product Development Process

  • Collaborate with Internal Teams to develop long-term competitive cost roadmap to grow the business.

  • Ensure sourcing decisions are aligned with our sourcing strategies.

  • Work with the relevant teams to ensure cost targets (near/long term), timing requirements and technical requirements are met from the supply base.

  • Develop and streamline the FE sourcing process to improve efficiency.

  • Improve cross functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive innovation in sourcing and procurement practices.

  • Establish clear communication protocols with vendors to prevent misunderstandings or miscommunications.

    Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or supply chain

  • Experience - 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing and/or new product development, program management and supply chain

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning, issues, and project management skills

  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships with stakeholders

  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to perform in an extremely fast paced environment

  • Travel - Up to 10%

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity
