Philips Quality Control Inspector in Woodinville, Washington

Quality Control Inspector In this role, you have the opportunity to help build a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions of people while advancing Philips journey as a global leader in Health Technology. You are responsible for Verify conformance of materials to specifications, printed material criteria and workmanship standards to assure a safe product.

Your role:

Verify conformance of materials to specifications, printed material criteria and workmanship standards to assure a safe product.

  • Perform functional test, visual and dimensional inspections per established inspection instructions under limited supervision.

  • Perform inspections on a variety of materials that range from machined/molded parts, electronic assemblies/components, printed materials and other materials as required and report the results

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • High school or GED equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality as a Mechanical/Dimensional Inspector

  • ASQ Certification or equivalent a definite plus

  • Knowledge and application of Inspection Methods and Terms

  • CMM (advanced use is a plus)

  • Other inspection tools and fixtures as assigned

  • Use of microscope and other magnification tools

  • Good experience with Windows, MS Word, Excel and Outlook

  • SAP experience is desirable

  • IPC-A-610 revision HF Certification

  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading, communicating effectively and basic math

  • Distinguish all colors

  • Proficient in the use of the following precision measuring instruments

  • Calipers

  • Micrometers

  • Depth Gauges

  • Bore Gauges

  • Torque Gauges

  • Height Gauges

  • Thickness Gauges

  • Pin/Block Gauges

  • Dial Indicators

  • Multimeter

  • Durometer

  • Other inspection tools and fixtures as assigned

Working conditions

Inspector shall work in Warehouse conditions as well as in a monitored (temperature / humidity) environment. Inspector shall wear prescribed personal/product safety equipment. Inspector shall be able to work overtime and weekends, if necessary

Physical requirements

Inspector shall be to reach up and stand on continuous basis and to lift 15 pounds on a continuous basis and up to 40 pounds infrequently. Why should you join Philips? Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $29.60 to $33.99 plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as anannual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
