Warshauer Electric Supply Company, founded in 1954, and one of the largest independently owned electrical wholesalers in the United States, is looking for qualified candidates for a Counter Sales Professional position based out of Woodbury,NJ. Primary Responsibilities:Handle customer inquiries both over the phone and in person.Prospect and network for new customers on a continuous basisAssist customers post sale with expediting, returns, change orders, or general customer service functions.Help maintain an organized work environment including cleansing pick shelves, merchandise area and your personal work space.Make recommendations back to management on a consistent basis for new products to be taken into stockBe cross-trained in other areas of Warshauer Electric Supply to better suite your customer’s needs and provide a true one-stop shopping experience.All required reports back to management must be made in a timely fashionRequirements:The desired candidate must be self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and in writingAbility to work in a dynamic business environmentExperience working with a team to solve problems or achieve a goalStrong organizational skillsAbility to use discretion and make decisions independentlyComputer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office and Excel a must.Prior electrical counter experience, electrical trade experience, 4-year college degree and any other industry experience a plus but not requiredThis is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines. It will require strong people skills in a dynamic sales environment.
