Roles & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will draw upon their experience of Solumina systems to take ownership of data transfer engineering and ownership of implementation into the aerospace OEM site. Mentorship and a forward thinking approach are important to ensure the team remains focused on the task ahead to meet customer commit times. You will be the face of Quest to your customer and to the wider industry. Through listening to customer challenges, and building on your previous experiences, you will find creative approaches that will solve their most difficult engineering problems.

  • Support all Solumina Management within the active technology area

  • Knowledge MRP/ERP systems ( Solumina/SAP) & Manufacturing processes

  • Transfer data from SAP to Solumina

  • Strong Project co-ordination and reporting skills.

  • BOM/Route creation

  • Build and manage customer relationships

  • Follow all Quest policies and procedures

  • Develop innovative ideas (Best Practice)

  • Monitor and improve program health governance structure of project

  • Support scope of work within the project

  • Develop internal processes(S.O.P’s) and procedures based on best practices and lessons learned, where applicable

  • Training coordinator/mentor for customer practical application & theory.

  • Contribute and present in technical and program reviews

  • Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve a wide range of challenging engineering problems.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

The successful candidate is detail-oriented and highly collaborative excellent communicator. There will be a significant amount of interaction with the customer’s teams. Listening to the customer’s issues and offering proactive solutions and reporting out is critical to building a strong relationship with this new customer.

  • 6+ years of experience in the engineering industry creating BOM’s and Manufacturing processes on MRP/ERP systems.

  • Experienced in use of Solumina

  • Personnel and project management experience are required

  • Experience managing project to a detailed plan and ensure delivery commitments are maintained

  • Strong foundation / experience in Aerospace engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with solving technical problems and leading cross functional teams (CFT’s).

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Effective in executive management presentations

  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to forge relationships and build trust both within and external to organization

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new methods, techniques, and approaches

  • Demonstrated communication skills

  • Work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Work Environment

  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 37 hour weeks / core (required) hours (Flexible to work longer if needed)

  • To be able to work in a high speed challenging environment.
