Micross Components Production Associate in Woburn, Massachusetts

Summary:

Entry level, on the job training

Coordinate, and enter customer’s purchase orders. Assist in preparing orders for shipment. Receive incoming product and assign to inventory.

We will work with you until you are comfortable in your job. You will gain computer and operational experience. You will have access to the sales process which may interest you in the future’

We are a distributor of micro miniature semiconductor components ( mainly semiconductor die and ceramic chip capacitors), which from time to time you will learn how to handle

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • May include handling the die or capacitors and loading carriers to the correct quantity required by the order when necessary.

  • Checking part numbers, and layouts against the PO.to insure they match

  • Printing labels for the carriers, generating a certificate of conformance

  • Taking the paperwork, the product, packing them in a box and printing the shipping label to complete the order

  • Receive incoming product

  • Enter incoming product into inventory both on the computer and physically

  • Move material between work stations as needed to keep flow of moving, as needed.

  • Track job status through the process

  • Update computer system with accurate data and ship dates.

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

  • Learn to meet schedules and quality requirements

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Related experience helpful

  • Must pass training and certification requirements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Due to export control rules, must be a US person.

  • Self-motivated, self-starter

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Job Skills:

  • Ability to communicate well with others and to be a team player.

  • Effective at time management and prioritization.
