This is a great opportunity for a professional with meaningful experience in project management, operational efficiencies, value-engineering proposed work, and reducing operating expenses, particularly in the area of HVAC equipment replacements and retrofits. Your first project will likely be starting with the conversion of existing HVAC equipment, in approximately 50 buildings, to energy efficient air-source heat pumps. This exciting, fast-paced role offers the opportunity for growth in a diverse range of other projects, including new buildings, additions, common-area renovations, tenant fitups, EV charging stations, lighting retrofits, and solar array installation and maintenance. As an ERM, you will collaborate with team members from the design, purchasing, sustainability, construction, and maintenance departments, and report directly to senior management. The ERM will maintain whole-project responsibility from conception to completion. S/he will leverage sound organizational skills, have a talent for multitasking, and adhere to deadlines to efficiently and effectively complete projects. A four-year college degree in a related discipline ? Five or more years of experience in a relevant field ? Superior accuracy and meticulous attention to details ? Current or near-term residency in north-suburban Boston ? Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written ? Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills ? Capacity to oversee contracts and manage vendors and contractors ? Leadership skills to coordinate, direct, execute, and expedite projects ? Resourcefulness to identify alternative products and innovative solutions ? Experience with owner-managed real estate construction and maintenance ? Capability to take initiative and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment ? Experience in project management, including identifying and solving challenges ? Ability to proactively collaborate on product selections and construction methods ? Skills in sourcing, estimating, buying, negotiating, diplomacy and consensus-building ? Aptitude to review and analyze drawings, specifications, and submittals, specifically HVAC.
